I always love to ask the question to potential clients regarding what is the most important thing to them when getting involved with a Realtor. I usually hear many things like trust, professionalism and competence, all of which are unbelievably important. The biggest lesson many that have done a real estate transaction before stress is the importance of communication.
Communication is the corner stone in any successful transaction whether it be between a Realtor and their client or the many other people involved in having a successful home sale or purchase complete. With all of the technology available out there today, some people can get lost and left behind due to the influx of available ways to get a hold of someone. Sometimes it can be too much for some.
It is important to have consistent and constant communication to help further along the conveyance process as well as to meet all expectations set. Let's not forget about the best way to build a relationship with someone, pick up the telephone. Sure text, bbm, email, skype, and video are great ways to help keep in contact, but nothing beats face to face, or the phone.
I pride myself on constant communication with my clients and strive to over deliver every time. So the next time you think to buy or sell real estate in the Surrey, White Rock, Delta or Langley area, don't forget to call Darin first!
